01 / In the browser
Resizing, cropping, converting and stripping metadata are all things a browser can do on its own through Canvas. Sending the file to a server to do them would be slower, would need a queue, and would put your photo somewhere you cannot see.
So six of the seven tools never send anything. The censor is the exception, because applying blur and pixelation at full resolution is the one job worth doing off the device — and that is stated on its page rather than buried.
02 / No account
There is no login, no free tier with a counter, no watermark on the result and no daily cap. Asking someone to register before they can blur a face is a way of collecting email addresses, not a technical requirement.
03 / One job each
The tools are meant to be used one after another: crop to the right shape, resize to the right pixels, convert to WebP, then strip the metadata before it goes out. Each page tells you which one comes next when there is one.
A single editor that did all of it would be slower to load and harder to learn than four pages that each do one thing and get out of the way.
